CV. Saman Duo Mandiri was founded by Oro and Ade Ferdiansyah, two brothers who have accumulated extensive experience in the coffee industry. They have a strong presence in both the local and international coffee markets. From 2007 to 2013, they were employed by the same international coffee company, though in different departments. Oro was assigned responsibility for purchasing, processing, and quality control, while Ade was designated to oversee marketing, logistics, and the processing of all certification processes (including organic, EU – USDA/NOP, J.A. S, Fairtrade International, Rainforest Alliance, UTZ Kapeh, and C.A.F.E practices). In 2013, they entered the coffee business by establishing Cahaya Commodity Nusantara, a company that supplies certified organic and fair-trade coffee to customers around the globe. In 2020, the two brothers made the decision to exit the international coffee business due to the global pandemic. In May 2023, they will have a second opportunity to enter the international coffee business through the establishment of "Saman Duo Mandiri."
